Albert Leon Beard

ALBERT LEON BEARD, age 68, of Greenfield, passed away at 5:33 a.m. on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield. Born on August 18, 1956, in Tuscarawas County, he was the son of the late Ira and Helen Stroup Beard.

Albert attended Jewet-Scio High School in Scio, Ohio. He worked in construction and re-modeled houses. Watching WWE Wrestling with his grandkids was his favorite past time, he also enjoyed watching old westerns and, in the past, he enjoyed going hunting. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Survivors include his daughter, Pauline Beard Foster, his grandchildren, Ocean Marchall (Shea Brady), Havannha Foster (Anthony Mootispaw), Kathryn Foster and Helen (Jacob) Beard White, his great grandchildren, Avery Johnson, Trinity Marshall, Brooklyn Marshall, Bentley Marshall, Able Smith and Alice White. Other family members surviving are Butch and Peggy Beard, Sue Myers, Richard and Sunday Fraley, Noah and Annett Fraley, Vicki Tackett, Patty Armstrong, Bill Webb, Ronda Salyer, Mike Webb, Joe Marshall, Dawn Knapp, Veronica and Kermit Whitt, Latrisha Scott, John (Anita) Beard along with several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his loving wife of more than fifty years, Pauline Wise Beard; his daughter, Helen Beard; and his son in-law, Charles Foster. Other family members preceding him in death are Darlene Fraley, Helen L. Beard and Kathy Richardson.

In keeping with Albert’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are to be held.
