Obituary
ANGELA DAWN OYER, age 32, of Jeffersonville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at her mother’s home, where she was surrounded by her family. She was born on January 5, 1991 in Fayette County to Richard Penn and Evelyn Oyer Merritt who survives.
Angela enjoyed being outdoors and could often find her hiking and fishing at her favorite spots. She also enjoyed reading her Bible, singing and dancing to all kinds of music and had recently taken up knitting.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her children, Braylon Oyer and Jamison Merritt; her siblings, Brittany (Mike) Stetson of White Oak, North Carolina, Brian (Cassandra) Litteral of Washington CH, and Austin and Aryan Penn of Greenfield. Other survivors include her grandmother, Vilma Penn of Greenfield; her great-grandmother, Edna Wesley of Latham; special friends since elementary school, Jackie Henry, Shaina Miller and Atasha Stubbs. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Angela was preceded in death by her father, Frankie Merritt, Jr. and her grandfather, Wayne Penn.
In keeping with Angela’s wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
