Beverly Jene Looker

BEVERLY JENE LOOKER, age 77, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Galion, Ohio passed away at 2:17 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at The OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, her death was sudden and unexpected. Born on June 1, 1948, in Marion, OH, she was the daughter of the late Jack H. Anderson and Florence Maxine Mash and Guy Lowe.

On November 1, 2000, she married Charles Looker who preceded her in death on July 1, 2017.

Beverly was a 1966 graduate of Elgin High School in LaRue, Ohio and worked as a Floral Designer for the Kroger Company in Lexington. Beverly enjoyed tending to her flowers and plants both at home and at work, spending time with her lifelong friend Annette and going to see the horses at the local racetrack farm with her friend, Rosie.

Survivors include her two sons, John (Heather) Buyer of Washington C.H. and Jeff (Allona) Buyer of Katy, TX; her grandchildren, Elle (Harper), Anna, Joel, Shelby and Paige. Also surviving is her sister, Karen Torresof Rockford , Ill along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Charles, Beverly was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Roy (Pappy) and Minnie Mash.

In keeping with the families’ wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are to be held.
