Bryant Wallace Obituary

BRYANT JONAH WALLACE, age 3, of Mount Sterling, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Bryant was born on June 20, 2015 in Highland County. God chose David and Raynea (Kreisel) Wallace to be his parents. Bryant’s name means; noble, strong, and victorious, which is exactly what he was; a strong, courageous fighter that has been victorious over MLD. Its chains no longer have a hold on him.

Bryant brought our family so much love, joy, peace, and happiness. He had the most amazing smile, incredible eyelashes, and the best belly laugh ever until MLD took that from him among many other things. Before MLD took its toll he loved toys that challenged his brilliant mind. Other things he enjoyed were music, swimming, swinging, Paw Patrol, and listening to songs such as Baby Shark on his iPad.

Bryant is survived by his loving parents, David and Raynea Wallace; his adoring siblings, Brittany (Cody) Casteel, Brandon (Harley) Wallace, Brady Wallace, Bryson Wallace, Braelynn Wallace, Brogan Wallace, Brodie Wallace, Jake Barton, and Kennedy Barton; nephews, Bronx, Jude, and Aiden; grandfather, Mike Cassidy; and great-grandmother, Hazel Wigfield. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Linda Cassidy, and William and Ethlynn Kreisel; and great-grandfather, David Wigfield.

The viewing will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Grace Community Church from 2-5:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Jay Lucas officiating. Immediately following the service there will be forty-four balloons released in honor of Bryant’s forty-four months of life. The family is requesting for all family and friends to wear blue in honor of Bryant for his battle with MLD.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bryant’s honor can be made to the MLD Foundation www.mldfoundation.org, Hunter’s Hope www.huntershope.org, or Make-A-Wish Ohio www.oki.wish.org. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Summers Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to www.summersfuneralhome.com
