Obituary

CHARLES MARLIN LITTLE, age 74, of Washington CH, left this life on Thursday, September 7, 2023 while surrounded by his five children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as several friends who he considered family.

Charles retired from Kenosha after many years of service. He was a faithful member at the Sabina Church of Christ. Charles was a true "Trump" supporter. He always wore his Trump hat with great pride.

Charles was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed attending Church, fishing, taking long rides in his Jeep, and spending time with his family and pets. He spent many lunches at The Willow Restaurant in Washington CH, the employees there were extended family members to Charles.

Charles lead a life of adventure out on the open road as a long haul truck driver. He had many stories of things he saw, friends he made, even troubles he encountered. His face would light up and his crooked smile would shine through when you were in for a good story that he would always make comical.

There are no words to describe the heart that he had for his family, friends, and animals. If you needed him, he was always there.

He was a devoted Christian who now lives among the angels of Heaven, sporting his angel wings and his Trump hat; and of course wearing his crooked grin and strutting beyond the golden gates.

He will be dearly missed by those of us who shared life with him.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Kay (Sword) Little, whom he married on June 11, 1986; his parents, Lonnie and Esther (Jenkins) Little; and siblings, Helen, Kenny, Jackie, Steve, Tommy, Richard and Mike.

Leaving behind his five children, Angela (Shanon) Little of Greenfield and her sons, Dwayne Jr. and Kody Howe; Sherry (Larry) Taylor of Washington CH and their children, Larin, Jared, Justin Taylor and Kaylynn Little; Tina (Brad) Bigam of Mt. Sterling and their children, Brittany Rogers, Trevor Little, and Beau and Chera Bigam; Renea (Terry) Beatty of Washington CH and their children, Brad Beatty, Chuck, Tyler, and Tony Bolen; Charles Little, Jr. of Washington CH and his children, Mahela and Ian Little and Anthony Kolie; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Wanda (David) Noel, Nancy Tackett, Danny (Janet) Little, and Jerry (Vickie) Little; and special friends, Steve Watson and his beloved fur babies and grand pups, Milo, Max, and Bentley. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rainsboro Church of Christ, 13072 Barrett Mill Rd., Bainbridge, OH 45612 with Pastor Troy Villars officiating with burial to follow at the Roads Cemetery.
