Colleen Ann Huffman

COLLEEN ANN HUFFMAN, age 78, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe after a brief stay.

She was born on March 11, 1947 in Grand Forks County, North Dakota to the late Bennie and Colleen (Cuffe) Self. She was a 1965 graduate of Washington High School and a 1966 graduate of Columbus Business University. Colleen was a case worker in both Fayette and Clinton Counties. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post 25 Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, Elvis, dancing, and the beach was her ultimate “happy place.”

Survivors include her children, Robyn Wise, Travis (Amy) Wise, and Chad (Brenda) Wise; grandchildren, Ashley Burns, Brandon (Priscilla) Wise, Blake (Emilie) Wise, Makenzie (Jacob) Wilson, Cody (Lenna) Wise, Taylor (Ryan) Hill, and Chloe (Matt) Wise; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Harrison, Jackson, Everleigh, Emery, and Baby Wilson arriving in October; brother, Benji (Brenda) Self; and step-sister, Valerie Gates. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of special friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Summers Funeral Home from 10-11:30 a.m. and a private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
