Crystal Joye Wilson

CRYSTAL JOYE WILSON, age 88, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at her home while surrounded by her beloved family.

She was born on May 10, 1937 in Madison County, Ohio to the late Gossard and Fern (Farmer) Stewart. She was a 1955 graduate of Madison Plains High School and a 1958 graduate of Mount Carmel College of Nursing. Crystal worked as a Registered Nurse at Fayette County Memorial Hospital for over thirty years, she retired in 1992. She enjoyed traveling, reading, flowers, hummingbirds, and she loved being a grandma!

In addition to her parents, Crystal was preceded in death by her brothers, Bud Stewart, Bob Stewart, and Darrell Stewart.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Robert Lee Wilson, whom she married on October 23, 1971; her children, James (Connie) Hostetler, Miranda (Marcus) Munro, Tara Wilson, Jennifer (Richard) Smith, and Patti (Geoff) Waddell; grandchildren, Mindy Munro (Jon), Melody Munro (J), Maria (Tim) Leisure, Alan (Melinda) Stanley, Cheryl (Ryan) Faulkner, Andrew (Ashley) Wilson, Savannah (Richard) Hedglen, Abigail (Jadan) Olson, Adam (Audrey) Waddell, and Matthew Waddell; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Joan Roth, Donnie Stewart, and Brent (Tina) Stewart. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, along with a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the White Oak Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
