Dale D. Wiseman

DALE D. WISEMAN, age 74, of Jeffersonville, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. Born on April 23, 1951, in Carson City, Michigan, he was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey J. and Vida K. (Ebright) Wiseman, and his sister, Sheree A. Wiseman.

Dale is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Jowanda K. (Vernon) Wiseman, whom he married on March 9, 1984. He also leaves behind his children, Jesse Wiseman of Georgia, Jerome (Tricia) Wiseman of Sabina, Ohio, and daughter, Victoria (Chris) Elder of Georgia. He was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 

Dale was a Vietnam Veteran who proudly served in the United States Army, retiring after twenty-two years of dedicated service. He was among the first Blackhawk helicopter mechanics and spent most of his military career as a crew chief. He later retired from Horton Emergency Vehicles as an ambulance cabinet maker.

In keeping with Dale's wishes, the family will have a private memorial at a later date and there will be no public services.
