Danny Dale Alspaugh

DANNY DALE ALSPAUGH, age 66, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born on January 2, 1958 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Leland M. and Helen J. (Penwell) Alspaugh. Danny attended Washington High School and later obtained his GED. He retired from New Sabina Industries where he worked for more than twenty-five years. Danny enjoyed going to Florida during the cold Ohio months, he was an avid golfer, and he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his nephew, Robbie Alspaugh.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Jean “Jeannie” (Leisure) Alspaugh, whom he married on May 19, 1979; his children, James (Misty) Davis, Dee (Chris) Funari, and Adam Alspaugh; grandchildren, Brandon (Kaitlin) Davis, Hayden Davis, Nick (Makayla) Funari, Ally Funari, Emma Funari, and Lyric Alspaugh; great-grandchildren, Noa Davis, and twins boys, Luke and Lennox Funari; and siblings, Diane Kielman, Steve (Jonie) Alspaugh, Penny (Charlie) Pine, Rusty (Debbie) Alspaugh, and Scott Alspaugh. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of special friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
