David Lucas Obituary

DAVID JAMES LUCAS, age 35, of Columbus, previously of Washington CH, passed away from this life on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 5:19 p.m. at his home.

He was born on August 25, 1984 in Montgomery County to Andrew Jay and Betty Jean Brintlinger Lucas. He was a 2003 graduate of Washington High School and went on to attend DeVry University. David had been employed at Walmart in Westerville for the past fourteen years. David was described as a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed video-gaming, attending Anime Conventions, reading, and watching movies.

David was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Bess Lucas, and Lloyd and Daisy Brintlinger.

Survivors include his parents; brother, Christopher (Sheena) Lucas; his beloved nephews, Ethan James Lucas, and Zander David Huseby; uncle, RT “Uncle Butch” Brintlinger; aunt, Linda Mickle; and best-friend, Steven Baker.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 1-3:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home.
