Diana Knisley Obituary

DIANA LYNN KNISLEY, age 66, of South Salem, passed away at 6:48 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at her home. She was born on June 10, 1956 in Fayette County to the late Pearl “Pete” and Allie Everhart Knisley.

Diana had previously worked as a dietary manager at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Buena Vista. She enjoyed making primitive designed crafts, shopping for and collecting all antiques but especially antique jewelry. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Survivors include her children; John (Bertha) Stutzman of London, Carmen Knisley of New Vienna, Jessica Lyn (Estevan) Benavides of Savannah, Georgia, Raymond (Crystal) Crabtree of Greenfield and Jason Knisley (Becky Wells) of Washington Court House, her grandchildren; Kaleigh, Kendra and Jerrica Stutzman, Kelsey Knisley (Darien), Isaiah Slone, Dylan Crabtree and Ethan, Jason and Noah Benavides and her great-grandchildren; Skyla, Milan and Serene. Also surviving is her special friend; David Knapp, her siblings; Helen Pennington, Ronnie (Pam) Knisley and Sharon Knisley, her sister-in-law; Elsie Knisley. Diana is also survived by her dog Homer and grand pup; Max. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings; David Kinsley, James “Jimmy” Knisley, Steve Knisley, Linda Schrader and infant brother Bobby Knisley.

In keeping with Diana’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
