Dianna Lee Smith

DIANNA LEE SMITH, age 68, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 4:26 a.m. at her home.

She was born on July 22, 1951 in Fayette County to Robert and Ruth Detty Beedy. After high-school, Dianna held several different factory positions. She was last employed at the YUSA Corporation in Washington CH. Dianna was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed playing Bingo, Mexican Train, and being with her family.

Dianna was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Leanna M. Smith; and her brothers, Eddie Beedy, and Robert Beedy.

Survivors include her best-friend, husband, and father of her children, Martin C. Smith, whom she married on June 29, 1968; children, Martin C. Smith II, and Melinda K. Majors; grandchildren, Robert A. Smith, Anthony S. Smith, Christopher T. “Tyler” Smith and his fiancé, Mystry Buskirk, Shyann N. Smith, Savannah S. Smith, Dustin M. (Bryanna) Newton, Kody L. Newton, Allysa K. Newton, Brandon L. Cregar and his fiancé, Paige Shepherd, and Makayla A. Cregar; great-grandchildren, Zekiel, Elizabeth, Bryson, Isabella, Kalis, Mason, Zadie, Tristan, and Sophia; sister, Lucinda (Duke) Sisterman; and son-in-law, Jeff Pressler. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Washington Cemetery with Danny Dodds officiating. Family and friends are encouraged to meet at the Summers Funeral Home, 223 W. Market St., Washington CH, OH 43160, at 12:30 p.m. to process to the cemetery.
