Donald Martin Wilson

DONALD MARTIN WILSON, age 93, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2025 at his home.

He was born on June 23, 1932 in Brown County, Ohio to the late Martin and Marie (Tumbler) Wilson. He was a graduate of Aberdeen High School. Donald proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for twenty-plus years. He retired from BlueCross BlueShield where he worked as an auditor. He enjoyed hunting, home cooked meals, spending time with his family, and he was a Kentucky Wildcats fanatic.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Helen Joanne (Schroth) Wilson, whom he married on December 6, 1955; his beloved son, Steven Martin Wilson; and brother, Myron Wilson.

Survivors include his son, Mark Scott Wilson; grandchildren, Jennifer (Donald) Cridlebaugh, and Amanda (Levi Holden) Wilson; great-grandchildren, Colin Cridlebaugh, Autumn Cridlebaugh, and Sophia Wilson; daughter-in-law, Kathy Wilson; and best friend, Terri Scott. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio with Danny Dodds officiating. Family and friends may visit at the Summers Funeral Home on Wednesday morning from 10-10:30 a.m.
