DONALD THOMAS MAIDEN, age 61, of Lima, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 6:43 a.m. in the Mercy Health- St. Rita’s Medical Center E.D. He was born on February 28, 1962, Pittsburgh, PA to the late Henry Maiden, Jr. and Geraldine Lazenby Holland.
Donald was a graduate of Washington Senior High School and had worked most of his life as a Long-Haul Truck Driver. He also served as a volunteer on the Fayette County Life Squad and was a member of the St. Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church.
Survivors include his siblings, Kelly (Joan Groves) Maiden of Xenia, Patricia (Mark) Ratliff of Marysville and Edward H. Maiden of Dublin; Step-Brothers and Sisters, Tony (Cara) Holland of Surprise, AZ, Margaret (Donald) Newton of Clinton, TN, Richard (Amy) Holland of Washington C.H. and Elizabeth Holland of Floyd, VA. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024, in the St. Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. C.M. Haddad officiating, burial to follow in the St. Colman Cemetery. No family gatherings will be held prior to the services.
