Evelyn Lucille Flint

EVELYN LUCILLE FLINT, age 87, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Court House Manor Assisted Living.

She was born on September 29, 1936 in Greenup, Kentucky to the late Ross and Sina (Spradlin) Winters. She was a 1954 graduate of Simon Kenton High School in Lees Creek, Ohio. Evelyn retired from Clinton Memorial Hospital where she had worked as an insurance and billing clerk. She was a faithful member at the Sabina United Methodist Church until her health would no longer allow her to go. She enjoyed traveling to Tennessee and North Carolina, playing cards, roller skating in her younger years, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom G. Flint, whom she married on July 15, 1956; and siblings, infant Anna Virginia Winters, and Gene Winters.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Mark Casto; grandchildren, Hannah (Evan) Schaefer, McKenna Casto, and Cameron Casto; and siblings, Edna (Raymond) Smith, and Don (Grace) Winters. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Kay Oughterson officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
