FAYE ELIZABETH CAMPBELL, age 79, of Washington Court House, passed away at 9:39 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Signature Health Care of Fayette County. She was born on March 2, 1945, in Bloomingburg and was the daughter of the late John and Mildred Kinzer Williams.
Faye was a 1963 graduate of Washington Senior High School. She enjoyed playing the piano and taught piano lessons in the surrounding area for many years. She also played piano for both Hickory Lane Church of Christ and South Side Church of Christ where she had attended in the past. Faye also enjoyed doing all kinds of arts and crafts, colored pencil drawings, cross stitching and crocheting.
Survivors include her son, Tye (Kelly) Campbell of Bloomingburg; her grandchildren, Dean and Julia Groves; her step-grandchildren, Ben and Meghann Taylor; and her sister, Margaret Williams of Washington C.H. Also surviving is her special friend, Betty Fleak, special cousins and a host of friends.
In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Campbell Magg; her first husband, Jerry Campbell and her brother, John Williams II.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024, from 6-8:00 p.m. in the Summers Funeral Home. Following visitation, cremation will be observed.
