Gary Warner Obituary

GARY WAYNE WARNER, age 68, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 4:29 p.m. at his home after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on January 21, 1952 in Fayette County to Ralph and Janice “Beanie” (Brown) Warner. He attended Miami Trace High School. Gary worked as a highly skilled and talented mechanic for many years at the Kroger Truck Repair in Washington CH, Transport Specialist in Springfield, and later retired from the Sugar Creek Auto Restoration Shop. He enjoyed playing music with his band, ‘Black Cat Zone,’ driving racecars, and being with his family and grandchildren.

Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Beanie Warner; sons, Gary “Little Gary” Warner, and Randall Wayne Warner; brother, Jimmy Warner; and brother-in-law, Ben Wallingford.

Survivors include his father, Ralph Warner; his loving and devoted wife, Pamela Kay (Smith) Warner, whom he married on August 3, 1998; children, Tracy (Doug) Morris, Travis Osborne, Tyler Osborne, and Tiffany Mick; special granddaughter, Kaylee Perkins; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Brenda Wallingford. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear and special friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
