Harvey Andrew "Andy" Pollock

HARVEY ANDREW “ANDY” POLLOCK, age 90, of Leesburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2025 at his home.

He was born on October 27, 1934 in Fayette County to the late Herbert and Lulu (Burner) Pollock. He was a 1952 graduate of Washington High School. Andy was a lifelong farmer; and retired from Armco Steel after thirty-five years where he worked as a highly skilled welder. He was a faithful member of the former Gregg Street Church of Christ in Christian Union and now, Heritage Church. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, farming, spending time with his family and grandchildren, and had a love for old tractors.

In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his daughter, Dianne Lynn Pollock; and siblings, Clarence Pollock, Mabel Walker, Arthur Pollock, Herbert Pollock, Adeline Huff, Cora Graham, and Helen Beechler.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Betty Jo (Reed) Pollock, whom he married on August 22, 1953; children, Deborah Ebright, Denise Hinton, Amy (Danny) Reeves, and Tim (Sonya) Pollock; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Heritage Church (1867 US Highway 35 NW, Washington CH, OH 43160) with Rev. Joe Duvall officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the Church on Monday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
