Howard Nicholas "Nick" Brown, Jr.

HOWARD NICHOLAS “NICK” BROWN, JR., age 64, of Circleville, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at his home with his beloved family by his side.

He was born on October 4, 1957, in Xenia, Ohio to the late Howard N., Sr. and Mary L. (Burton) Brown. He was a graduate of Greeneview High School in Jamestown and obtained his Associate’s Degree from ITT Technical Institute. Nick was currently employed at Simpson Strong-Tie in Columbus where he worked as a tool and die maker, a trade he had mastered for over forty years. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, watching and attending NASCAR races and Street Outlaw events, and buying and selling at flea markets and auctions.

In addition to his parents, Nick was preceded in death by his brother, James Brown.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Michele Lee (Mossbarger) Brown, whom he married on September 5, 2009; children, Kandi Nichols, Nicholas Brown, Whitney (Caleb) Pierce, Taylor (Jordan) Raines, and Holly Bolin; grandchildren, Tommie Marie, Alanis, Cody, James, Madison, Wesley, Avery, Colton, Brayson, and Waylon; siblings, Deborah (Marc) Chaniott, Michael (Nova) Brown, and Margie Brown; and mother-in-law, Brenda Mossbarger. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Maurer officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow.
