Jack Richards Obituary

JACK EUGENE RICHARDS, age 78, of Frankfort, formerly of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 6:35 p.m. at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

He was born on April 3, 1941 in Fayette County to Cecil Richards and Emma Nuckols. He had attended Washington High School. Jack was last employed in Tennessee where he had worked in janitorial services. He enjoyed music, watching old westerns, working on old cars and trucks, and being with his family.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Hamilton Richards; great-granddaughter, Shariah Haithcock; and brothers, David Richards, Jim Richards, and Ronnie Richards.

Survivors include his children, Vickie Groves, Tony (Janet Curnutte) Richards, Connie Lamberson, and Jeremy (Brandi) Richards; grandchildren, Angela (Tony) Graham, Charles (Allison) Richards, Troy Richards, Brenda Brown, Misty (Randy) Mossbarger, Jacob Richards, and Makayla Richards; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and siblings, Emma Blair, Mary Ellen Dixon, Donna West, Richard Wolfe, Donald Wolfe, Dean Wolfe, and Toby Richards. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In keeping with Jack’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
