JACKIE WILLIAM BROWN, age 81, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 4:16 p.m. at the Adena Fayette Medical Center.
He was born on October 11, 1940 in Fayette County to William and Bernice (Penwell) Brown. He attended the Jeffersonville High School. Jackie retired from Halliday Lumber in 2005 after eighteen years of service. Jackie and his wife, Frances were longtime members at the All Saints Church in Washington CH. He enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach with his wife, watching old western movies, and being with his beloved family and grandchildren.
Jackie was preceded in death by his parents; and grandchildren, Natasha Dearth, Billy Rankin, and Travis Putney.
Survivors include his loving wife, Frances J. (Smith) Brown, whom he married on August 23, 1997; children, Julia McNeil, Linda Storer, Jackie (Rodney) Williams, Joyce (Rich) Priest, Marcos Miramontez, Helen (Charles) Putney, Elizabeth (John) Rankin, and Christina Billue; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; the mother of his children, Bessie Posey; and his special canine companions, Brutus, Koko, Tiger, and Stitch.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at the Good Hope Cemetery with Rev. Warren Huestis officiating.
