Jacquelyn "Jackie" Louella (Green) King

JACQUELYN “JACKIE’’ LOUELLA GREEN KING, age 76, of Washington Court House, passed away at 11:46 AM on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. Jackie was born on August 15, 1945 in Xenia, Ohio to the late James and Laura Belle Oder Green.

Jackie was a 1964 graduate of Washington Senior High School and later went on to receive her Associates Degree in Columbus, Ohio. Jackie enjoyed listening to gospel, country and sixty and seventies music, she was a collector of Princess Diana plates, she liked to color, draw and write. She had previously attended Church at the Gregg St. Worship Center and had also volunteered at the Senior Citizens Center in Washington Court House. Jackie had a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandson Christian.

Survivors include, her daughter; Marsha L. King Elzey and grandson; Christian King, one brother; Terry Green, two sisters; Marilyn “Dee” Green and Kim Green, her special friends; Norman Day and Jackie Hill and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Jackie was preceded in death by; her parents, grandparents; Reverend William and Clara Oder, three sisters; Cherry Green Jones, Flossie A. Green Shelpman and Dorothianna Green, one brother; James W. Green, Jr. and two special friends; Patricia Rigsby and Juanita McFarren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Highlawn Cemetery. No visitation will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Summers Funeral Home.
