James "Mike" Johnson

JAMES “MIKE” JOHNSON, age 47, of Dayton, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Kettering Grandview Hospital in Dayton. Mike was born on January 10, 1978, in Washington C.H., Ohio to Bonnie Johnson, who survives. Mike grew up in Washington C.H. and attended Washington Senior High School, Class of 1996. 

In addition to his mother, Mike is survived by his wife, Tiffany (Streitenberger) Johnson of Dayton; his children, Kayci Carson (Noah Pedrick), Cierra Remy, Jaleigh Johnson (Xavier Minor), Skyler Glispie (Winnann Sharp), Tabitha Johnson, Jamey Johnson, Saraya Johnson, James Michael Johnson Jr., Thomas Johnson, Leo Johnson, and Wyatt Johnson; his grandchildren, Clark, Kasper, and Xayden. Also surviving are several cousins, many friends, including his best friends Marvin Wilson and Zach Marshall, who will dearly miss him. 

Mike was so loved by his family and his main goal in life was to make his family smile.  He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.  He will always be fondly remembered for his ornery grin, and for the love he gave to his family who meant everything to him.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, in the Summers Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00p.m. with cremation to follow after.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions in Mike’s name be sent to he American Heart Association by visiting www.heart.org.
