Janet Sue Stewart

JANET SUE STEWART, age 78, of Washington CH, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 6:58 a.m. at Signature Healthcare of Fayette County.

She was born on April 23, 1944 in Hamilton County, Ohio to the late Joey E. and Emily E. (Lickliter) Davis. She was a 1963 graduate of Blanchester High School. Janet was a stay-at-home wife and mother to her four children. She was also a faithful member at the Harvest Life Church. Janet was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, and sister. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and was also a highly skilled seamstress.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Paul G. Stewart, whom she married on May 29, 1965; and brother, Roger Davis.

Survivors include her children, David E. Stewart, Timothy R. (Deadra) Stewart, Tammy S. (Bill) Rhodes, and Rhonda K. (David) Jones; grandchildren, Christopher Stewart, Jared Stewart, Timothy Jr. (Ashley) Stewart, Sebastian Stewart and his fiancé, Kristin Miller, Garrett Koger, and Emily Jones; great-grandchildren, Kaden Stewart and Henley Stewart; siblings, Jerry (Rita) Davis, Wanda (Dan) Gossett, and Darlene Davis; and sister-in-law, Chris Davis. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be he held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Conley officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
