Janice Arlene Reynolds

JANICE ARLENE REYNOLDS, age 86, of Jackson, Ohio, formerly of Washington Court House, OH, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family and caregiver.

She was born on November 17, 1938, to Charles W. and Augusta Eubanks Hunley. She was a 1956 Jackson High School graduate. In 1958, she married James T. Reynolds and moved to Washington C.H., OH. She was a member of the Staunton United Methodist Church. She worked at Fairley Hardware Store and retired from Master Refrigeration Service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James T. Reynolds of sixty-one years, a sister, Patty Wolford, a niece, Lynn Freeman, nephew, Bill Wolford, sister in-laws, Eloise Parks and Jean Hammond.

Janice is survived by a sister, Sandy (Alvie) Pelfrey, her niece, Jonnita (Rex) Osborne, all of Jackson, her nephews, Brett Eisnaugle of Jackson, Mike (Edie) Wolford of Johnstown, and Jeff Hammond of Chillicothe. Also surviving is her niece, Denise Cribben of New Albany, her nephew, David Cribben of Jackson, and Roger Lee (Sue) Parks of Crown Point, Indiana. In addition are her sisters-in-law, Joanne Chapman of Wilkesville and Phyllis Cribben of Jackson and special friends, Pat Downing, Nancy Ivers and Sarah Mathews.

A private graveside service will be held by the family in the Fairmount Cemetery in Jackson. No visitation or viewing will be held.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Summers Funeral Home in Washington Court House, Ohio.
