Janiyah Adelle Queen

JANIYAH ADELLE QUEEN, age 8 months, gained her angel wings on Friday, November 24, 2023. Her death was sudden and unexpected.

She was born on March 2, 2023 in Ross County to Tommy Thomas Queen and Marjorie Olivia McClendon. Janiyah was always a happy baby who crawled everywhere and recently started pulling herself up. She loved playing with her toys and her parents said she loved to "growl" at everyone!

Janiyah was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mike Queen, and April James.

Survivors include her loving parents, Tommy and Marjorie; her brother, Elijah Rahmel Judd; maternal grandparents, Sam McClendon and Kristle Piccolo; great-grandparents, Pamela Ball, Harley Price, Sam McClendon, and Sandra Mason; her special Nana, Melissa Dewitt; aunts, Kelly Jo Piccolo, Kiara (Darrel) Hostetter, Terra Queen, Brandy Cox, Katie Bug Queen, Cindy Queen, Jazdyn Williams, and Jerezmay Williams. Also surviving are several great aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Esto Haithcock officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
