Jason Patrick Hurles

JASON PATRICK HURLES, age 46, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 4:35 p.m. at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.

He was born on April 29, 1974 in Bitburg, Germany to Gerald “Gary” and Anna (McConkey) Hurles. He was a 1992 graduate of Washington High School. Jason was a long time employee at the Yusa Corporation and also Central Ohio Exterminating. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, husband, father, and Pappy. He enjoyed fishing, camping, going out to dinner, and was an avid Ohio State fan.

Jason was preceded in death by his grandmother, Minnie McConkey; and mother-in-law, Ruth Burns.

Survivors include his parents, Gary and Anna Hurles; his wife, Kellie Baker; children, Brandon Michael (Reagan) Baker, and Adam Patrick (Kayla) Baker; grandchildren, Kennedi Baker, Kallie Payton, and Harrison Baker; siblings, Tony (Heather) Hurles, and Scott Hurles; and his beloved pets, Annie and Lilly. Also surviving are several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and a host of dear and special friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Clarence Hogan officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
