Jean Ellen Phillips

JEAN ELLEN PHILLIPS, age 63, of Washington Court House, passed away at 5:13 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025, in the Cedarvale Commons Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Washington Court House. Born on May 4, 1961, in Fayette County, she was the daughter of Herbie and Janie Phillips Jones.

Jean was a 1979 graduate of Washington Senior High School and enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with friends.

Survivors include her mother, Janie; her brother; Herbie Jones, Jr. (Sandy Bennett); her sisters, Crystal (Wayne) Carmen, Carolyn Jones and Debbie Curnutte along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her father, Herbie.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Summers Funeral Home.
