Jeffrey Thomas Schiller

JEFFREY THOMAS SCHILLER, age 71, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at his home.

He was born on August 4, 1954 in Highland County to the late Howard Thomas and Flossie Mae (Watkins) Schiller. He was a 1972 graduate of Miami Trace High School. Jeff was a truck driver for University Corporation in Columbus for over twenty years. He enjoyed planting trees and being in his garage, working on cars.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jean (Penwell) Schiller, whom he married on June 30, 1984; his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Amber Schiller; his special grandson, Brayden Schiller; stepson, Scott Montgomery; sister, Debbie (John) Free; and nieces, Jenna (Nathan) West, and Emma (Kevin) Stuckey. Also surviving are cousins along with a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodd officiating with burial to follow at the Cochran Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
