Jill Rae Neuder

JILL RAE NEUDER, age 76, of Washington Court House, passed away at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2023, shortly after her arrival to the Adena Fayette Emergency Room. She was born on February 27, 1947 in Greenfield and was the daughter of the late Billy Dale and Ruth Elizabeth Damsgard Jamison. On January 4, 1969 she married Thomas Eldon Neuder who preceded her in death on July 13, 2017.

Jill was a 1965 graduate of Washington Senior High School and received both her Bachelors and Master’s Degrees in Education from Miami University. She was an Educator of more than thirty years, spending most of her career as a Second Grade School Teacher at Belle Aire Intermediate in Washington Court House. Jill was active in the Fayette County Retired Teachers Association, Phi Beta Psi, Delta Kappa Gamma and was a member of the St. Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church.

Survivors include her children, Jason Neuder Jamison of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jessica (Derek) Griffiths of Parker, Colorado and Maggie Neuder of Chicago, Illinois; her grandchildren, Alexander and Emma Griffiths and Jack and Katherine Jamison along with a host of friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023 in the St. Colman of Cloyne Church with Rev. Fr. C.M. Haddad officiating, burial to follow in the Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
