JOANNA BOHRER, age 85, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Carriage Court of Washington CH.
She was born on October 14, 1938 in Fayette County to the late Eugene and Frances (Anders) Fitzpatric. She was a 1955 graduate of Washington High School. After graduation, JoAnna started her career with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services as a case manager in Fayette County and retired thirty years later from Warren County attended South Side Church of Christ when her health would allow. She enjoyed talking politics. She, shopping, music and dancing, and she loved expensive cars.
In addition to her parents, JoAnna was preceded in death by her loving husband, William H. Bohrer.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Carolyn DeWeese; nephew, Dennis (Beth) DeWeese; niece, Ann (Sid) Tidwell; and special cousin, Debbie Yeoman. Also surviving are several cousins and a host of friends.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff and residents at Carriage Court and Ohio’s Hospice of Fayette County for the amazing care they provided during this difficult time.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery with Pastor Todd Maurer officiating.
