Joey Michael Cupp

JOEY MICHAEL CUPP, age 65, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 7, 2024 at his home.

He was born on June 29, 1959 in Fayette County to the late Reuben, Jr. and Lenora (Wallace) Cupp. He was a 1978 graduate of Miami Trace High School. After graduation, he began his career at Fayette County Memorial Hospital where he worked as a surgical technician; he also worked at Ev’s grocery store for several years. His last job was a janitor at Washington High School. He thoroughly enjoyed doing genealogy and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his siblings, Beverly (Ronald) Spangler, Bryan (Janet) Cupp, Sandy (Tom) Hall, and Connie (Doug) McPherson. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday evening from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
