Kenneth "Scott" Mitchell

KENNETH “SCOTT” MITCHELL, age 53, of Washington Court House, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. Born on June 1, 1971, in Fayette County, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Terry Smith Mitchell.

Scott attended Washington Court House City Schools and worked various junkyards in the area throughout his life.

Survivors include his step-mom, Barbara Mitchell; his sons, George, Josh and Charlie Shadley; his siblings, Lige Browning, Angela Kidder, Mary Jane Browning and Craig Mitchell. Also surviving are his special friends, Jennie Armstrong, Danielle and Mariah Leasure, Charles Fitch and Tom Armstrong and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other friends.

In keeping with the families wishes, cremation will take place and no viewing or services will be held. Burial will be held privately by the family at Washington Cemetery at a later date.
