Kurt Allen Brown

KURT ALLEN BROWN, age 64, of New Holland, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022. His death was sudden and unexpected.

He was born on November 17, 1957, in Fayette County to the late Ronald O. and Rena (Beechler) Brown. He was a 1976 graduate of Miami Trace High School. From building custom cabinets to designing extravagant kitchens; Kurt could best be described as a “jack of all trades.” He enjoyed traveling with his wife, golfing, and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

In addition to his parents, Kurt was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Brown; and stepdaughter, Laura Penwell.

Survivors include his wife, Jackie Madeline (Harris) Brown, whom he married on October 24, 2020; his children, Ashlee (Jesse) Jamison, Jerika (Chris) Hodson, and Treg (Abby) Brown; stepdaughter, Amanda (Pat) Wilding; grandchildren, Emma, Hudson, Saylor, Hidy, Hallie, Griffon, Landyn, and Rayli; and siblings, Melinda Bramel, and Brent Brown. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear and special friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
