Marilyn June Eggleton

MARILYN J. EGGLETON, age 63, of Greenfield, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 6:20 a.m. at her home.

She was born on September 1, 1957 in Highland County to Lavina Christine Hottinger. Marilyn worked for twenty years as a nursing assistant for Amity Home Care in Circleville. She and her husband, Lloyd were faithful members at the South Side Church of Christ in Washington CH. She enjoyed helping others, cooking, playing Cornhole and being with her grandchildren.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her mother, Christine Hottinger; and stepchildren, Barbara Williams and Andy Eggleton.

Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, Lloyd E. Eggleton; her children, Chad Eggleton and Angela Eggleton; stepdaughter, Darlas (Dennis) Walden; son-in-law, Richard Williams; grandchildren, Miranda, Melissa, Keri, Kim, Amy, Charlas, Alexus, and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Isiah, Elijah, Jazdyn, Kiera, Keira, Kylee, Cole, Jalaura, Jerezmay, Jaxon, Jayden, JJ, Brandon Jr., Lexus, and Colton; and siblings, Bo, Jim, Rhonda, Becky, and Caroline Hottinger. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of special friends.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Maurer officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
