Mark Andrew Hoagland

MARK ANDREW HOAGLAND, age 60, of Greenfield, formerly of Washington Court House, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in the Greenfield Skilled Nursing Facility. Born on October 26, 1963, he was the son of the late Danny Milton and Elma Audrey Anders Hoagland.

Mark was a 1984 graduate of Miami Trace High School and had previously worked in Masonry and Manufacturing. Known to his friends as “Hoagie Dog”, he was a “jokester”, a rock and roll “junkie”, and enjoyed watching comedies, sitcom and ball games on the television. He especially liked to watch his favorite teams, OSU and the 49’ers.

He is survived by his son, Andrew Shaw of Washington C.H.; his daughter, Amanda Scarbury of Columbus; his grandchildren, Carter Shaw and Colt, Emmett and Ellie Scarbury. Also surviving are his brothers, Marty, Shane and Dannie Hoagland, and his sister, Carrie Tobin.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
