Mark David Harris

MARK DAVID HARRIS, age 62, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024 at his home. His death was sudden and unexpected.

He was born on July 22, 1961 in Tarrant County, Texas to the late David Clements and Mildred Louise (Daniels) Harris. He was a 1979 graduate of Galesburg Senior High School in Galesburg, Illinois. He worked as a restaurant manager at Sonic for twenty-four years before his retirement in August of 2023. He enjoyed good music, painting, sketching, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children, David Christopher Harris of Washington CH, and Zachary Ryan Harris of Texas; sister, Valli Harris; niece, Jennifer (Brad) Hay; and nephews, Steven (Jerika) Ortlieb, and DJ Ortlieb and his fiancé, Miranda Simmons; and great-niece, Madison Hay. Also surviving are several cousins, and a host of friends.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
