Matthew David Urban

MATTHEW DAVID URBAN, age 60, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully to his eternal home on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

He was born on June 14, 1964 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Paul Thomas, Sr. and Flora Margaret (Boggs) Urban. Matthew was a faithful member at the Harvest Life Worship Center in Washington CH. He enjoyed thrifting, building robots, reading scripture, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Matthew was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Thomas Urban, Jr., Danny Eugene Urban, and Jeff Urban.

Survivors include his cousins, Sharon (Bob) Williams, and Cheryl Glasscock; and special friends, Chris (Amanda) Conley and their children, Isaiah, Noah, Isaac, and Charity, Jessy Veach, and his robot, Gizmo. Also surviving is a host of friends and church family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ohio’s Hospice of Fayette County, Nurse Kris, and Barb Hurley for making this difficult process a little easier; also, a big thank you to his church family at Harvest Life.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will be held at a later date.
