Nancy Anne Roberts

NANCY ANNE ROBERTS, age 72, of Columbus, formerly of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 11:15 p.m. at Riverside Methodist Hospital while surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 17, 1950 in Franklin County to William and Elizabeth (Shonkwiler) Rockhold. She was a 1968 graduate of Washington High School and lived most of her life in this community. Nancy worked for Steel Data Processing after high school and was a longtime office manager for the Stage department store. She enjoyed reading and had a huge space in her heart for her two beloved dachshunds.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, John Rockhold and Ronald Rockhold.

Survivors include her husband, Martin Glenn “Marty” Roberts, whom she married on September 9, 1972; her daughter and son-in-law, Mandy and Jim Deem; and sister, Wileen (Bob) Stackhouse. Also surviving are nieces and nephews; Brian (Tricia) Stackhouse, Dianna (Dave) Wyatt, Jacki (Judd) Montgomery and Scott Stackhouse; cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Tim Lee officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
