PEARL WILLIAM “BILL” SUTTON, age 65, of Bloomingburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 11:33 p.m. at Court House Manor.
He was born on March 9, 1955 in Pickaway County to James and Martha Sheets Sutton. He attended Miami Trace High School. Bill was last employed at Marquee Construction in Washington CH. He enjoyed relaxing on his front porch, listening to music, gardening, watching NASCAR, and being with his family and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rhonda Marie Cox Sutton, whom he married on May 10, 1990; sisters, Bonnie Sutton Ayers, and Karen Sutton Rhoads; and father-in-law, Ronnie Cox.
Survivors include his children, Heather (Adam) Olley, and Lance (Roxanne) Sutton; grandchildren, Rylan Sutton, Jerzee Lawwell, Alexis Olley, Grant Olley, Andrew Sutton, Kennedy Sutton, Aiden Sutton, Alexander Sutton, Ashton Sutton, Abraham Sutton, and Katelynn Sutton; siblings, Johnny (Diana) Sutton, Keith (Cami) Sutton, RuthAnn Leisure, Janie (Jim) Smith, Betty Ruth, and Robin (Roy) Litteral; mother-in-law, Ruth Cox; and special friends, Kevin and Beverly Mongold, and Shane Copas. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Summers Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place following services.
