Rebecca Jean Eckles

REBECCA JEAN ECKLES, age 56, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, while surrounded by her beloved family.

She was born on May 13, 1968 in Kingston, Pennsylvania to the late Donald Edward and Joan (Stackhouse) Eckles. She was a graduate of Miami Trace High School. Rebecca worked at United Dairy Farmers for many years until her health would no longer allow. She greeted her customers with a warm smile and friendly face. Rebecca attended Grace Community Church. She enjoyed helping others, donating to different causes, arts & crafts, calling Bingo, and playing cards with her friends at the nursing home.

In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by her brother, Dirk Edward Eckles, and brother-in-law, Fred (OW) Kilgore.

Survivors include her siblings, Kim Eckles Kilgore, Keith (Susan) Eckles, and Jennifer (Chris) Taylor; nieces and nephews, Kinsley (Sam) Fuller, Kaleb (Shelby) Eckles, Conner Eckles, and Cameron (Lillian) Eckles; and great-nephews, Charlie Eckles, and Teddy Eckles. Also surviving are several cousins and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at The Grace Community Church with Pastor Jay Lucas officiating. Family and friends may visit at the Church on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
