Rhonda Kay Six

RHONDA KAY SIX, age 68, of Washington Court House, passed away at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at her home. Her death was sudden and unexpected. Born in Fayette County on November 8, 1956, she was the daughter of Richard H. Young and Marcia L. Stookey Hall.

Rhonda attended school at Washington Senior High and had worked as an Assistant Manager in Retail and worked as a Caretaker for many years. She had previously attended The Gathering Place Church and enjoyed her going to yard sales and Eagle collectibles.  

Survivors include her father, Richard H. Young of Columbus; her children, Melissa (Bobby) Sword of Washington C.H. and Larry (September) Six of Greenfield; her grandchildren, Dylan Crusie and Eric, Cohen and Lyric Six and her great granddaughter, Emma Crusie. Rhonda is also survived by her K-9 companion of fourteen years, Arnie.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her mother and brother’s Terry L. and Michael L. Young.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2025, in the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Joy Stanforth officiating with burial to follow in the Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Friday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
