Richard Dean "Rich" Wood

RICHARD DEAN “RICH” WOOD, age 61, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Court House Manor where he had resided for the past three years.

He was born on September 5, 1963 in Fayette County to Richard Darel “Dick” and Dorothy Christina (Smalley) Wood. He was a 1982 graduate of Miami Trace High School. Rich worked as a highly skilled fork lifter for the YUSA Corporation until his health would no longer allow. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and friends, and was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan.

Rich was preceded in death by his father, Richard D. Wood; brother, David D. Wood; and nephew, David Dale Wood, Jr.

Survivors include his mother, D. Christina Wood; his daughters, Ashley Wood, and Lea Wood; the mother of his child, Tiffanie Wood; niece, Alicia Wood; and his best friend since fifth grade, Bruce Thomas. Also surviving are several cousins and a host of friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services.
