Robert J. Williamson

ROBERT J. WILLIAMSON, age 82, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Cedarvale Commons Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

He was born on June 16, 1943 in Fayette County to the late Herbert H. and Virginia M. (Clay) Williamson. Robert was a faithful member at the South Side Church of Christ. He enjoyed camping, CB Radios, and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his son, Robert Douglas Willimson; brother, Butch Williamson; and brother-in-law, Rex Cox.

Survivors include his wife, Jane (Mossbarger) Williamson, whom he married on October 4, 1964; daughter, Jo A. (Terry) Meehan; grandson, Tyler Meehan; great-grandchildren, Terry, Tatum, and Tripp; siblings, Danny (Joyce) Williamson, JoAnn (Jerry) Fisher, Patti Cox, and Sharon Baird; and sister-in-law, Betty Williamson. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Maurer officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
