Robert James "Bob" Edwards

ROBERT JAMES “BOB” EDWARDS, age 88, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025 at Cedarvale Commons Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

He was born on August 11, 1937 in Fayette County to the later Burch and Georgiana (Dove) Edwards. He was a graduate of Greenfield McClain High School. Bob served in the Army National Guard for six years and worked most of his life as a farmer. He enjoyed putting together model cars and airplanes and watching movies.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Richard A. Edwards, and his beloved canine companion, Jenny Lee.

Survivors include his sister, Carolyn Sue Beverly; niece, Cindy Self; and nephew, Chad Self. Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and burial will be held at the White Oak Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
