ROBERT LEE “BOB” DILLEY, JR., age 50, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at his home. His death was sudden and unexpected.
He was born on June 10, 1975 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert Lee, Sr. and Joyce LaVera (Pendergraft) Dilley. He attended Washington High School. Bob worked at Center Pizza in Washington CH for over twenty years and was affectionately known as the “Bob Father.” He was currently employed as the Director of Maintenance at St. Catherine’s Manor; he loved his job there.
He enjoyed making pizza for his community, listening to “loud’ music, watching YouTube videos when trying to figure something out, helping others, fixing screen windows, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Michele Ruth (Mitchell) Dilley, whom he married on March 4, 2000; his children, Robert Lee Dilley, III, Devin Allen Dilley, and Renae Elizabeth Dilley; siblings, Dee Ann (Rick) Hart, Robin Lee (Ben) Norman, Sandy (Don) Bader, and Gary (Anne) Collins; niece, Morgan (Dana) Wood; nephew, Stefan (Tisa) Shields; great-nieces, Layla, Lyndi, and Annie; and great-nephew, Archer. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, along with a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Joy Stanforth officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
