Robert Luther Hall

ROBERT LUTHER HALL, age 94, of Springfield, formerly of Fayette County, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at his home.

He was born on February 2, 1931 in Fayette County to the late William McKinley and Edith (Hayner) Hall. Robert proudly served his county in the United States Army. He retired from the Bauer Brothers Company in Springfield where he had worked as a machinist. Robert and his wife, Jean, were faithful members at the Harrisburg Pilgrim Holiness Church in Orient. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his siblings, Melvin Hall, Lloyd Hall, Ernest Hall, William Hall, Doris Howe, Patricia Roberts, Barbara Rice, and Linda Seaman.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jean Ann (Sockman) Hall, whom he married on January 9, 1956, and siblings, Monty W. (Phyllis) Hall of Springfield, and Karl Hall of Washington CH. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home, 223 W. Market St., Washington CH, OH 43160, with Pastor R.A. Smith, Jr. officiating with burial to follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
