ROBIN ANN MUNRO, age 67, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
She was born on December 31, 1956 in Fayette County to the late John Robin and Barbara May (Campbell) Munro. She attended Miami Trace High School. Robin worked as a server at several different restaurants in the area before becoming a stay-at-home mother. She enjoyed playing computer games, watching the game show network, collecting angels and chimes but most of all, she loved spending time with her two precious granddaughters.
In addition to her parents, Robin was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Ashley May McConnaughey; her life partner, Mark Anthony McConnaughey; brother, John David Munro; father-in-law, Pastor Jerry McConnaughey; and brother-in-law, Gary McConnaughey.
Survivors include her daughter, Christina (Dusty) Gordon; granddaughters, Carlee Ann, and Caylee Marie Gordon; siblings, Dennis (Diane) Munro, Marcus (Miranda) Munro, Donnie (Levenia) Munro, Mary (Ed) Hogle, Bryan (Dee) Munro, and Leatha (Jimmy) Bennett; sister-in-law, Sharron Munro; brother-in-law, Timmy McConnaughey; and special friend, Ellen Anders. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and no formal services will be held. A Celebration of Life will take place at the convenience of the family.
