ROSEMARY ANDERS, age 80, of Columbus, formerly of Washington C.H., passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 29, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 4, 1944 in Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late Thurman and Charlotte Goldsberry Coulter.

Rosemary was a 1962 graduate of Washington Senior High School and attended both Southern State and Columbus State Community College’s where she obtained her Realtors License. In 2004, she retired from Maryhaven in Columbus where she worked as an Administrative Coordinator. Rosemary was an avid gardener, winning many awards for her beautiful flowers and plants. She also loved her cats dearly and was known by her family, friends, neighbors, and JD Vance as the “crazy cat lady.”

Survivors include her children, Donald “Tracy” (Sara) Anders of Washington C.H. and Robin Anders Flynt of Chillicothe; her grandchildren, Charlotte (Brock) Kinsmith, Wade Sockman and Alexander Flynt; the children of her significant other, Scott (Amy) Richardson, Julie (Brian) Wolfe, and Tishia (Shaloi) Gunton, as well as her bonus grandchildren, Emily (Colleen) Abrams, AJ Richardson, Grace, Nate and Megan Wolfe, Ian and Lennon Luckeydoo, and Lucy Gunton. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

In addition to her parents, Rosemary is preceded in death by her siblings, Wilma Coulter and Merv Coulter and her significant other of 32 years, Randall Richardson.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers sent, the family suggests donations in Rosemary’s name be made to any hospice organization of your choice.
