SANDRA MARCELLA KELLEY, age 77, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
She was born on April 19, 1946 in Scioto County, Ohio to the late Olive Zelmar and Viola Frances (Fout) Crabtree. She attended Washington High School and lived most of her life in this area. Sandra was self-employed and worked in homecare. She was a member at the former New Life Chapel Church of God and then attended the Solid Rock Church of God in Greenfield when her health would allow. She enjoyed volunteering for various outreach ministries through the Church and at the Lucy House in Chillicothe, baking, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Dallas Hoyt Pendergraft; nephew, Demetrius Nance; and brother, Orville Crabtree.
Survivors include her children, Paul (Tonya) Pendergraft, William (Paula Lucas) Pendergraft, Travis (Debbie) Redden, and Evaelyan Jones; grandchildren, Crystal (Michael) Brienzi, Benjamin Pendergraft and his fiancé, Jeanette Kiser, Nathan Wayne Pendergraft, Terry Pendergraft and his girlfriend, Kayla Campbell, Cassandra (Josh) Phillips, Amanda Lenora (Seth) Perkins, Paula Reid, Ashley Scott, Reagan Redden, Larry Redden, Matt (Kaitlyn) Jones, and Marcella Jones; seventeen great-grandchildren; siblings, Kathleen Bernice Milam, Bonnie Lou Spradlin, Chester Levi (Joyce) Crabtree, Ike James Crabtree, and Mamie (Ron) Frazier; and her aunt, Julia Carl. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor John Caskey officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
